EXPERIENCE:
20 years as a career naval officer, in charge of all phases of engineering and maintenance. This involved a wide range of material inspections, trouble shooting, and machinery failure analysis of electromechanical, hydraulic, and power plant equipment. Technical writing consisting of detailed engineering reports, operating manuals, and accident/incident investigations.
3 years teaching engineering mechanics and design courses, at the US Naval Academy and at Stevens Institute of Technology.
10 years experience in highway and railroad bridge structural design and inspection.
6 years independent forensic experience including dynamic force and impact analysis for a wide range of sports activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey and Virginia
• Member New Jersey chapter, National Society of Professional Engineers
• Past member, Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers
• Qualified to sit for USCG First Assistant Engineer's License
